The tell tale heart by Edgar allan poe.

The lines that inspired me:

"I loved the old man. He had never wronged me. He had never given me insult. For his gold I had no desire. I think it was his eye! yes, it was this! He had the eye of a vulture - a pale blue eye, with a film over it. Whenever it fell upon me, my blood ran cold; and so by degrees - very gradually - I made up my mind to take the life of the old man, and thus rid myself of the eye forever. "

Read it. its an amazing short story.

I decided to draw this.... for alot of reasons. Things involving .. my heart, my thoughts, the world, what drives us, what kills us, how we do this, what good REALLY is.

My minds been at work lately. I... i just need some sleep....
Nightmares dont help.

Time taken: span of 1 week+/9 hours+
Used: Acrylic, Water colours, Derwent pencils, Copic markers, Hairspray, Fine line markers.
Song: ICP = Ol' Evil Eye.

It is on size A3 paper

edgar allan poe was a very mysterious writer

This is really cool i love the fur details, heart details, shading, blood, background, drawings, creatures, everything, this is very impressive.

I love this.
I love the whole color composition to it as well.
The heart looks like it has a small, faint glow around if which adds a good touch.
Overall its an amazing picture.:)
